I’m a big fan of Dagne Dover, and I use the Mara Phone Sling every single day. It is my go-to bag for any occasion from running a quick errand to heading out for a casual meal. I was searching for a long time for what would be my first designer purchase for one of my past birthdays. I wanted to invest in a bag that would be super versatile that I could wear every day but also out at night or to a nice dinner. I bought this Mini Loop Camera Bag by Bottega Veneta and I have never had an ounce of regret since.
I am absolutely obsessed and bring it everywhere with me. When I’m traveling, I use it as my crossbody in the airport and it’s rarely been an issue. Rarely I have been asked to put it inside my personal item bag but it’s never been an issue since it’s so small and made of such soft leather it doesn’t get damaged. Again I could not say enough amazing things about this bag so if you’re able to make a bit of an investment, I would definitely add this bag to your collection.
Stella McCartney Mini Falabella Crossbody
If you’re traveling for a wedding or know you’re going to be having a good excuse to dress up, I love traveling with this Stella McCartney Mini Falabella Crossbody. There is nothing I love more than investing in a multi-purpose bag and the best part about this bag is that you can fold the chain inside to turn it into a clutch. I brought this bag recently to a wedding and on the day I wore it as a clutch, but for the rest of the time I loved using the crossbody chain. It also comes in multiple colors and it’s flat design makes it easy to travel with. While you can find this bag on the Stella McCartney website, retailers like Saks typically also have it in additional colors.
By Far Mini
I love almost anything by By Far, but their mini crossbody bags are one of my favorites. My favorite thing about this bag is not only all of the cute colors and materials it comes in (think: suede, leather, and croco leather in all kinds of neon and neutral colors) but that the crossbody strap is detachable. I like to wear the strap when I’m going for a more casual look, but I use the top handle to pair with a cute night-out outfit. Plus, it’s small enough to fit pretty easily inside your luggage. While you can find these in many options on the By Far website, you can also search retailers like Saks, Bloomingdales, Revolve, or FWRD that may have it in other colors.
